Perma/Dur Barrier Board Drop Front Boxes, Blue/Gray

An archival standard for flat filing, the drop front storage box is ideal for storage of such items as maps, prints, photographs and newspapers. The drop front feature provides easier access and retrieval of stored objects. While they all share a common design, drop front boxes are manufactured in a variety of materials. An archival storage standard, our Blue/Gray boxes are constructed from durable 60 pt. acid-free board and buffered with 3% calcium carbonate to retard the effects of migrant acidity and atmospheric pollutants. The interior is lined in white paper and measures a pH of approximately 8.5. Coated boxes add a degree of protection from a water disaster. Corrugated boxes increase rigidity and black boxes are desired for their professional looking appearance. All our drop-front boxes feature an adhesive-free, metal edge construction for protection and stacking strength. Available in two standard heights to meet particular collection requirements.
