Photo-Textile Interleaving Tissue is 30#, 49 GSM, high purity, 100% virgin wood fiber unbuffered tissue that is acid-free, lignin-free, and sulfur-free to a content less than 0.0004% reducible sulfur, with no optical brighteners present at time of manufacture. Photo-Textile Interleaving Tissue was developed to meet the highest quality standards for storage of photographs, textiles, and works of art on paper. It is 1.67 times heavier than other readily available heavy-weight tissues. Made with a soft, smooth finish to reduce the risk of abrasion damage to negatives and print. Photo-Textile Interleaving Tissue's pH value is 7.0-8.0 at time of manufacture. Fiber distribution and formation of this paper is excellent. Use for general storage of photograph collections; storage of textiles for which the alkaline environment of a buffered paper may be considered undesirable, e.g. leather, wool, fur and silk; interleaving and wrapping of works of art on paper where buffering is not desired.
